Arun Civic Centre Committee Rooms, Littlehampton
This project was to refurbish the second-floor committee room suite and the core toilets on three floors. Mechanical and electrical services included new refrigerant heating and cooling, new heat recovery ventilation air handling units, modifications to existing ventilation, and water services. The existing electrical services were stripped and replaced with a new design.
East Pallant House, Chichester
Pope Consulting Ltd, working with HNW Architects, was appointed to design low energy services for the extension and refurbishment of Chichester District council's offices.
The new accommodation has air source heating and cooling with heat recovery ventilation.
A 3.6kW array of solar panels on the refurbished roof provide electrical power.
County Hall, Chichester
Various projects for West Sussex County Council including the replacement of boilers and flues with new condensing boilers, door access controls, refurbishment of toilet facilities, emergency centre refurbishment, and installation of new emergency generators. More recently, we have undertaken the design of M & E services refurbishment in the main building for Kier Construction under the IESE framework.
Arun Civic Centre, Littlehampton
Various projects for the Arun District Council offices, including upgrading of the LPHW heating and Council Chamber cooling feasibility study. We have also designed a rainwater harvesting scheme for the building and designed the services for the refurbishment of the Main Lobby Reception and Interview Rooms including a gas-fired VRF system.
Assembly Rooms Photovoltaics, Chichester
Chichester City Council appointed Pope Consulting to design and project manage a new photovoltaic installation on the south-facing pitch of the Assembly Rooms in North Street. After a competitive selection process,1SunPath was appointed for the 4.3kWp installation. The panel array is shaped so that the installation on the Grade 1 listed building is not visible from the street.
1-7 Station Road, Crawley
Refurbishment of former WRVS office accommodation for Crawley Borough Council and installation of VRF heat pumps to provide heating and comfort cooling with heat recovery ventilation. This 1980's building now has Grade B EPC
Assembly Rooms Floodlighting, Chichester
Chichester City Council appointed Pope Consulting Ltd to develop unobtrusive low energy LED floodlighting scheme for this Grade II* listed building. Using state of the art software, we produced a number of feasibility options compliant with English Heritage guidelines. We liaised with the District Council's Historic Buildings Officer and obtained listed building consent before preparing full tender documentation and inviting competitive tenders.
Southampton Civic Centre
Various projects at this Grade II* listed building including new emergency lighting for former Courts and disconnection from police generator, fire alarm rationalization and panel replacement, halon removal and Inergen fire suppression installation in IT suite.
Capital House & Monument House, Winchester
Entire refurbishment of two Hampshire County Council offices in Winchester, including lighting, power and data upgrades, new fabric duct ventilation system and boiler replacement.
