Early software modelling of buildings can greatly improve the design process and offers a chance for client to get an early feel for how the building will look and perform.

Our IES Virtual Environment software can create a 3D building and test this against real weather data to show thermal performance, building regulations compliance, solar shading, daylighting levels and lifetime costings.

For lighting calculation, we use Relux, the industry leading and manufacturer independent calculation and lighting design software program. This can accurately predict the illumination levels produced by both luminaires and daylight. The software provides output in numeric, graphical and visual forms (including animations) and the application of different materials can be rendered by means of an integrated ray tracing visualisation package.
