Pope Consulting Ltd is a well-established engineering practice with a streamlined management structure tailored to support effective decision-making and project delivery. Our board comprises three directors: Neil Champion, Managing Director; Richard Abbott, Regional Director; and Tom Duckworth, Director of Marketing and Communications.
Together, they lead a dedicated team of experienced engineers, technicians, apprentices, CAD operators, and administrative staff. Our collaborative approach ensures that each project benefits from a wealth of expertise and attention to detail at every stage.

Pope Consulting Ltd was founded in 1999 by Derrick Pope, who began the company from home before establishing our offices in Chichester. Through his vision, determination, and unwavering commitment to quality, Derrick laid the foundation for what has become a well-respected and trusted engineering practice in the region.
A pioneer in sustainable design, Derrick championed low-carbon technologies and innovative engineering solutions long before they became industry standards. His forward-thinking approach and dedication to environmental responsibility continue to shape the company’s values and direction.
