Handed over in October 2005, Pope Consulting designed full M & E services for this new West Sussex County Council CE Primary School. The building was designed to be fully compliant with current DfES Building Bulletins, each teaching area having opening fenestration on opposite sides to promote high quality, crossflow ventilation.

Pope Consulting also undertook initial daylighting studies to ensure that the building would meet Building Bulletin 87 requirements. All teaching areas have sufficient levels of daylighting with overcast skies to avoid using supplementary electric lighting.

The building is heated by wall hung condensing boilers serving underfloor heating systems with zone controls. Domestic water services are served by mains water to ensure quality and pressure.
