Petworth CE Primary School
Pope Consulting Ltd has designed full M & E services for this new West Sussex County Council CE Primary School. The building was designed to be fully compliant with the current DfES Building Bulletins. Each teaching area has opening fenestration on opposite sides, promoting high quality, crossflow ventilation to control summer heat gains in a sustainable manner.
The building is heated by wall hung condensing boilers serving underfloor heating systems with zone controls. Domestic water services are served by mains water to ensure quality and pressure.
The works have also involved substantial upgrades to and refurbishment of the existing Herbert Shiner Intermediate School, to which the new school building attaches.
