As a medium-sized engineering practice, Pope Consulting Ltd. has a simple management structure most suited to its needs. Pope Consulting Ltd. board comprises four directors. Each project is allocated to one of the directors who personally sees it through to completion.
Derrick Pope

Derrick Pope Msc (Arch) CEng MCIBSE MIHEEM MISPE

Derrick is a Chartered Engineer with a mechanical building services background. He has wide experience in all aspects of building services engineering with particular expertise in low energy applications and swimming pools. Derrick undertook his Masters degree at Bristol University, studying building modelling and dynamic analysis of weather data, the very technologies that are only now becoming part of the requisite building design process.

Brian Fleet

Brian Fleet Dip EE CEng MIET

Brian is also a Chartered Engineer, but with an electrical building services background. His specialist expertise is in ICT power supplies and lifts.

Keith Benham

Keith Benham IEng ACIBSE

Keith has worked as a design engineer for consultants, contractors and for local authorities. He has a wide experience of all aspects of electrical design and was appointed a director in May 2008.

Neil Champion

Neil Champion BEng (Hons) CEng MCIBSE

Neil is an experienced mechanical services engineer with responsibility for our Quality Assurance systems. Neil gained a Combined Engineering degree at Coventry University studying both engineering and business management and achieved Chartered Engineer status and CIBSE membership in 2005. Neil was appoined a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant in 2008.

The Directors are supported by a number of engineers, technicians, CAD operators and administration staff. The process is coordinated by the Office Manager, Ann Salisbury, who has extensive experience in business administration and company management.
